GOP is DOA

Maybe I'm wrong but it looks a lot like the Republican party is flopping around like a fish out of water. John Boehner, Sarah Palin, and a recovery package that kind of resembles a blank slate.

First Mr. Boehner. This loudmouth, perma-tanned special interest whore decided he was going to be the face of this new recovery package. Inside a skimpy 19 page report lies the simple solution to the end of the recession he helped cause through de-regulation and tax cuts for the rich. He assumes trickle down tactics will fix everything. He offers to start a 10% cut for those making less then 50,000 a year. Now the sweet spot. A 25% cut for those who make more then 100,000 a year. Clearly he can't see the greed that prevents trickle down from working. Look at recent  history. I defer to AIG. Even death threats can't pry their white knuckle fists from their piggy banks. The reason trickle down doesn't work is that people won't share.

Second is the package itself. If you want to beat Obama, come up with innovative structured plans to help this country bounce back. Having a proposal with no details is nothing to brag about. Unless of course your doing that thing you were doing in Iraq; figure it out as you go along, hoping you can save your own ass in the process. Then there is the length. I could be wrong but isn't this the same party that helped draft a three page effort outlining the TARP?  What a success that was! Prove to me you have something that is going to work because Mr. GOP, you have a lousy track record. Little information, excessive testosterone.

Sarah Palin. Poor Sarah Palin. You are so lost. Why would you smear the name of the guy who gave you the cred you have? Don't you see your party is splintered and withering? Do you really think being so conservatively separatist is the right answer to your political aspirations? You are catering to the contingent that is so small, they equate to a party joke. I suggest you stop ripping into people you quibble with and bone up on your history, geography, and modern politics. Either that or just stay at home with your hillbilly base. Your a hypocrite with special needs, ignorant to the perils of Alaska, and out of touch with the needs of a new America. We do need people like you Sarah, just not leading the way.
