Dear John

Why does it seem that Barak is getting put under the microscope for everything he does these days. I will say that the misstep he did have last week was not going to visit the injured troops, with or without cameras. It made him look very political. Also he, since the beginning, has preached a new form of politics for a change in the political system we now have. He has been somewhat hypocritical, especially he run against Hillary. I think though, even before the european trip, Obama has begun to clean up his act in this area, and why not the republicans look like fodder feeding Fontleroy's nipping at the heels of what can soon become all too real. 

The RNC has so many of it's own problems it seems the only real weapon they have is deflection. Alaskan senators under arrest, Larry Craig, special interests dominating policy, defecit spinning wildly out of control, and so much more. Their answer....... John McCain. An old school politician using old political tactics, like negative ad's. Also this guy, while calling out is opponent for all his faults, is much more hypocritical then Obama is. His stand on taxes alone.

 John don't you remember Bush Sr., "Read my lips, blah, blah, blah" then you backtrack  with George Stephanopolous this past sunday. Then you flip again by getting bullied by an eight year old girl in a town hall meeting two days later!

I have to agree with the cold but true statement a couple of weeks ago, 'just because you were a P.O.W. that does not make you qualified for the presidency.' It does make you virtuous, couragous, and patriotic, but that's it. I mean the number one concern in  America today is the economy, and you have already stated for the record you are not very adept in this area. It seems very familiar. Sounds like it doesn't matter what you can or can't do, your a patriot and that should be enough. Well sir it is not. Allowing your administration to take the reigns in major matters of this country has been tried, and it failed horribly.

Change in ideas and politics is in order. Arcane ways of running this country should be put on the shelf. Senator if you do not know this, your running for the wrong office. Change the way your campaign is being run and you may win. If you stay the course, you will lose......BIG! We need leadership, not complacency. What I mean is, business as usual in this case means certain failure. Be the maverick you claim to be and they will listen. Fall into the party lines, and the book will close on you. Here are some starting points;

1) encourage big oil too seek alternate energy, solar, wind, etc. with incentives for their efforts.

2) put aside negative ad's that slander and use your plans for office as a platform.

3) find a way to stop outsourcing employment.

4) explain how wasteful government spending can be brought to an end.

5) tell us how we can get out of Iraq, and put the troops where they belong; Afghanistan!

6) what will future generations do for retirement without social security?

7) kill special interests and look out for the interests of the country as a whole.

I believe these answers can get you elected old man.
