Why give life to really stupid comments like he is as popular as Brittney or Paris? So what if he is? Isn't it better to have the favor of world masses as opposed to going it alone? Are there not more important things to talk about then wether or not the kid who stayed back a year is making fun of you with his friends? If they want to focus on him let them I say! Before they know it, it will be election day and they would have said nothing.
Actually I think he handled the heckeling at the town hall meeting rather well, not perfectly, but well. He addressed them and answered them with a great line...."I did speak out against the things to which you are refering. I may not have done it in a way you were satisfied with, in which case you could vote for someone else, or run for office yourself."
It is that spirit that is going to get my vote. I as well, want him to be more specific, but in politics it seems, if you speak too soon, it is disected, and then forgotten. I think he is doing it right, choose your time, make your argument, and move on. I just wish he chose to not get mired in the meneusca of political mud slinging. I think it is his office to lose, and if he plays their game , he could.
