I am someone who has faith, but it dwindles with each day of being told to hold on. Every time someone says I hear you, and then I get put on the back burner, makes me think, i may be heard, I simply do not matter. Obama is about to cross that line. Here are my bullet points.
-Do not put dates on your promises, you look like a liar when the date passes without result.
-Do not listen to everyone, some want to be heard solely for the purpose of stonewalling.
-Do not watch the country flounder, then tell me your pulling troops out within 18 months, 12 months later, nothing changes.
-Do not tell me you want healthcare reform when i have none and your family is covered.
-Do not tell me that you have bigger priorities then getting me back to work.
-Do not tell me your not business as usual then let banks, credit companies and wall street carry on with perverted practices.
Mr. President I represent the people who got you in. I am the swing vote that believed you. I am an independent. I can't get work without small business loans. They are frozen. Do not tell me a little is better then nothing in healthcare. You have a lot, I have nothing. I am saying your no better then me. I deserve the coverage you have. Lunches with friends is not getting me covered, and it is letting the senate and congress to slowly slip through your fingers. The clock is ticking here, in this country, and you are worrying about something nobody has control over. Terrorists will get in this country, the secret is out. The question is, what will you do when they get here, have a round table meeting?
THAT IS NOT NEARLY ENOUGH!!!!!!!!
I have watched this past year closely. I have watched your diplomacy grind things to a halt. So what if we have mended fences abroad if the country you took charge of is burning to the ground?!?
I have waited to opine on your efforts. I thought you got Rahm Emanuel and Joe Biden on board to get things done. I have not seen enough done, and i see you jumping back and forth without finishing a single task. We need to save this country from becoming a total Katrina. That is possible now. No more time for fly-bys, its time to land and do something. I want you to succeed, but you need to give me something other than lip service.
Obama you bit off way more then you can chew. Your beginning to choke. It would not have been easy for anyone who took the chair, admittedly. Your breaking the promise that got me to vote for you. Whatever your reasons are, it is still politica as usual. I have not seen change, I have seen a typical spineless democrat get voted in.
