First they steal the tag line from the democrat's and decided they were the party of change. Isn't there a cliche something about a leopard changing it's spots? Are they changing the way business is done, as the washington post's clever cartoonist lampooned? How can you change what you agree with? I am not going to bother ranting about the two faced behavior of Sarah Palin, or the sellout tactics McCain used to get Karl Rove's playbook.
What I will say is this, I really hope that people are smart enough to see these tasteless tactics for what they are. How can the good people of this country admire the people who are lying to them? How can they honestly accept four more years of misguided dishonest leadership? Let me state at this time, that Obama, is far from perfect, and my vote is not decided as of now. The fact of this matter, for me at least, is that Barak Obama hasn't really slandered anyone, and neither has his very entertaining sidekick, big Joe Biden. It's this paragraph that has given me real food for thought.
Also I haven't found Sarah Palin to be particularly decent or honest. This bridge to nowhere scandal, the trooper gate scandal, the congressman embezzlement scandal, her questionable earmarking and pork, where she took money tagged for a fallen project, and used it for completely different uses because of a loophole, her library scandal, all of which make me wonder what the draw was to call her one day and ask what she was doing for the next four years. I think she even asked, un-jokingly, what the vice president does. A woman who is not pro choice, with or without condition, makes me very nervous.
I am only suggesting that we keep our eyes open, and ears. Vote; your conscious! VOTE!
